Here are five healthy chaat recipes you should try.
Mixed sprouts and corn chaat
Sprouts are prepared from a variety of dals/pulses, that are naturally filled with lots of protein.
To prepare this filling and healthy chaat, mix together sprouts, corn, tomatoes, onions, and some spices.
It works as a great mid-meal snack. So, the next time you start craving for those cookies or pack of chips, head to the kitchen, and prepare this healthy snack.
- 100 grams mixed sprouts
- 2 handfuls coriander leaves
- salt as required
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 2 tablespoon coriander chutney
- 2 onion
- 2 tomato
- 100 grams American corn kernels
Loaded with essential vitamins, iron, and proteins, eggs are a storehouse of nutrition. So, adding them in any dish is a wonderful step.
To prepare healthy and delicious egg chaat, take a couple of boiled eggs, and add a mix of tomato ketchup, tamarind chutney and lemon juice.
However, go slow on that tomato ketchup pack, as it is loaded with hidden sugars.
- 12 egg
- 2 tablespoon Thai sweet chilli sauce
- 4 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- 2 green chilli
- 2 tablespoon coriander leaves
- 2 tablespoon red chilli sauce
- 2 onion
- 2 tablespoon chaat masala powder
- salt as required
Sweet potato chaat
Containing crucial vitamins and fiber, sweet potatoes are packed with nutritional goodness and are amazingly filling.
To prepare this chaat, boil a couple of sweet potatoes, and cut them into small cubes.
Then, add a good amount of fruits of your liking. Finally, top it with a mix of your favorite chutneys.
You may also roast the sweet potato.
- 3 sweet potato
- 1 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1 medium star fruits
- 1 1/2 tablespoon pomegranate seeds
- 1 tablespoon refined oil
- 1/2 handful coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoon sev
Beans and Fruit chaat
Beans chaat: Mix boiled kidney beans, chickpeas, and green beans along with a generous amount of potatoes, tomatoes and cucumbers. Top it all with chaat masala and lemon juice.
- 1 cup Chowli beans, cooked
1 tsp Coriander
1/2 cup Cucumbers
1 cup Green beans, cooked
1/2 cup Onions

- 1 cup Potatoes, cooked
- 1/2 cup Tomatoes
Fruit chaat: Mix together fresh chunks of apples, pineapples, kiwis and literally any fruit that you have a taste for. This chaat will give you plenty of vitamins and minerals, and keep you full.
- 1 banana, slice
- 1 apple, chopped
- 1 pear, chopped
- 1 orange mandarin, chopped
- 5 strawberry, chopped
- ¼ tsp pepper, crushed
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp cumin powder / jeera powder
- 5 leaves pudina / mint, chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
